Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and equipment for various projects, particularly in water and wastewater systems. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of efficient and reliable power systems and controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for water and wastewater projects.
- Conduct analysis and simulations to ensure systems meet performance specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation and specifications for projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs with other system components.
- Oversee the installation of electrical systems and provide technical support during implementation.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain SCADA systems to monitor and control processes effectively.
- Provide training and support to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in water and wastewater systems.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, instrumentation, and controls.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Excellent technical writing skills for documentation and reporting.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems design and implementation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to organize and manage documentation efficiently.
